The membership rates are reviewed each year at our Annual General
Meeting. No VAT is chargeable on the subscriptions. Full details
from the office of the Newcastle upon Tyne Law Society. The Partner rate has been temporarily reduced from £66 per annum to £44 per annum for the current year.
PRESIDENT AND STANDING COMMITTEE
The officers of our Society are elected at the Annual General Meeting.
They are the President, Vice President, Deputy Vice President, Director
of Operations and Honorary Treasurer. There are also twelve elected
members, two Past Presidents, a Law Society Council Members and up
to seven co-opted members. The interests of Commerce & Industry
solicitors, Local Government solicitors, Young Solicitors, Trainee
Solicitors and Justices Clerks are all represented.

RETIRED SOLICITORS ASSOCIATION
The Retired Solicitors Association meets 3 times a year. Any member
of the Society, or any adjacent Society, who is contemplating retirement
is welcome to join and should contact the office for details.
