Residential Conveyancing Update

The course will cover a wide area of current issues of relevance to residential conveyancers. To ensure topicality contents are liable to change to reflect latest concerns, but will include: Ongoing Issues of Fraud, including Dreamvar case; Measure of damages for breach of contract; Latest Case law on easements & covenants; Beware of Land Registry Requisitions; SDLT – some common problems; Leasehold Houses & Flats – latest developments.

SpeakersPAUL BUTT is a Solicitor and has over 30 years’ experience lecturing to property lawyers. He was formerly an Associate Professor at the College of Law and Senior Lecturer at the University of Chester. He was the author of the Legal Practice Course textbooks on Conveyancing and on Commercial Property and is currently Editor of Aldridge’s Leasehold Law. He is a Consultant with Rowlinsons, Solicitors in Cheshire.
